Dogs are most commonly affected by two types of worms, tapeworms and roundworms. Unfortunately, it is all too easy for your dog to pick up worms while they are exploring out and about. Unfortunately, there is no medication that you can use with your dog that works to prevent an infestation, however with regular treatments you can make things easier for your dog. It is recommended that you use a worming medication for your dog every three months, this will target any eggs, larvae of living worms that are present in your dog. This should not only help to keep your dog free from worms but should also help to protect your family from worms as well which can potentially be harmful. Symptoms that suggest your dog has worms include a swollen stomach, vomiting, diarrhoea, tiredness and issues with digestion. We stock a variety of worming products in our online store including pastes, liquids and tablets.
